Management Trainee - Management in Training Programme (MIT - Retail)

Candidates will be placed on our "Fast-track Programme". Typically, it will be a one-year on-the-job training under Harvey Management Trainee Programme (MIT), within Harvey Norman Malaysia's business unit nationwide learning the basics of store operations.
Upon successful completion of the one-year programme, you will progress to the next level and be tasked with increased management responsibilities.

What you will learn:
- Learn about retail merchandising, sales, inventory, planning and management.
- Gain knowledge on Company policies, protocols, and processes.
- Learn from experienced staff members on day- to-day operations and tasks.
- Liaise with Managers, Supervisors and other staff members.
- Participate in meetings, workshops and other learning opportunities with guided schedule and learning modules.
- Learn about conflict resolution and sit in disciplinary hearings.
- Complete assigned tasks by assisting with day-to-day operations with the assigned business unit.
- Prepare documents and update records.
- Fulfill any requirements and meeting goals set at the program.

- Malaysian citizen
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline preferably with 3.0 CGPA. (Candidates who studied Retail Management will be an added advantage).
- High energy and strong passion for the retail industry.

- Positive attitude and ability to approach adversity with growth mind-set.
- Excellent at articulating information in both writing and speaking English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Good interpersonal skills and those with customer centric acumen will be an advantage.
- Able to work in a Retail fast-paced environment.
- Able to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
